What's going on with me?? Hmm.. nothing really new. Kids are all away.. and imagine this.. I am actually up at 11:00 at night.. is she CRAZY? you might ask.. why no.. although that does run rampant in my family, I am totally sane.. yes, that's right folks, I am awake at 11:00 on a Tuesday night when I don't have children crowded into my little queen size bed (have to upgrade by the way) for one simple reason: My husband is busy screaming at the DAMN tv... yes, ladies and gents.. he is actually screaming at the television.. And while he
is crazy, he is doing this because the Miami Heat are competing with the Dallas Mavericks in a basketball match...er... tournament.. game.. thing.. Yawn.. Me, I don't watch the stuff.. trying to cut back on the televised sports. Although, my friend from England did tempt me to watch the World Cup today.. Talking smack about the USA.. you get shot for that shit over here... Well, technically no, not over sports.. unless of course you're making fun of a Texas cheerleader and/or college football team/player. . . you will get shot for that.

But, hey what's in a job right?? Except for those wonderful "health benefits". You see how I deliberately put that into "quotations"... mmm hmmm.. and do you know why, my dear friends/family members/satan??? cause we are all being SCREWED by the MAN.. that's right.. I said it.. THE MAN.. oh yeah.. don't be fooled by all the promises of corporate America.. uh huh.. sure.. "Oh! We'll give you health benefits and stock options and a really great 401K plan.." Yeah, "EAT ME" said the cake to Alice. It's ALL JIVE my friends.. mmm hmm.. That "great" health benefit package they referred to?? All crap.. first they used to let us pick our health insurance company, no more.. we have stinky ole Aetna.. they used to let us have single plus one, which was cheaper than single plus family.. NO MORE.. and you know how I LOVE to conform.. On top of these luscious morsels.. we also have a $250 deductible for single people and a whopping $750 deductible for family.. now, that's not such a big change for a person like me with a husband and three kids, but for a single mom with two kids.. DAMN.. that's a lot of frigging money.. not to mention, the %20 we have to pay for any lab work, x-rays, tests...etc. we have to have done.. which they won't even allow you to get in YOUR freaking Dr's office... what kind of shit is that??
I mean, shit.. no wonder everyone is getting freaking government assistance (also dubbed by THE MAN as "welfare", as if they give a shit how "well" any of us "fare") you can't afford to work and live a respectable life here anymore.. The people who don't work get free healthcare, free food, a free or reduce priced place to live, AND spending money.. not to mention reduce priced daycare so the NON working mothers of America can drop their kids off and go spend MY tax money to get their FREAKING NAILS DONE.
Oh yeah, and the GREAT 401K retirement plan.. mm hmm.. they are taking away our ability to invest in our own company stock.. which by the way is up to like $40 a share.. coincidence?? I think NOT .. do they think we are STUPID?? huh?? "Oh, you can transfer those funds into another fund of your choosing" YEAH RIGHT. .I want that much sought after Office Depot stock I bought and paid for DAMN IT.. "You can always invest in company stock using your ESPP" (employee stock purchase plan, for those of you wise non-depot employees) Yeah, and what about the thousands of FREAKING dollars I have invested in OD right now?? HUH?? HUH?? Can't have the employees having any of the old decision making power.. uh uh..that just will not do.... that's just flat out Un-American right there.. hell, we oughta choose for them.. shit, why don't we just go back to the old days when women knew their place and didn't vote and men had to work in the fields for 15 hours a day starting at age 11 and and and. .. ... .. phew.. glad I got that off my chest.. damn but if I can't rant.. Yoli b-day this weekend, Jennifer's wedding in July, camping at Lion Country at the end of July, got to fit in a trip to Tampa to see Josh's brother Joey somewhere in there. We should probably go to Naples to see Jackie also.. ahhh.. so much to do, so few clones to do it for me..
